If the Datto web portal is not accessible locally, you would have to get in front of the device and connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse to check what’s the status of the machine.
Once there, try hard rebooting the appliance to see if it would come up normally after. Please press the power button of the device for a few seconds and make sure that it is completely turned off. Then press the button again to turn it on and then monitor the booting process to see if it loads correctly or if there are any messages or errors that we would have to review.
If the machine comes back up, go to the Datto web portal, click on the Protect tab, and enter the encryption password to resume the backups.
If the appliance doesn’t come back up, contact Hexistor support so we can work with you reviewing any messages or errors, to see what would be the next step.
